A collection of the things that made me smile, laugh, cry, or jump for joy throughout the week.
*Bill Gates being incredible again. This time on climate change.
*This man in a pink tutu. Best thing I have seen for a while.
*Bria Skonberg (whom I had never heard of) doing a facebook live concert with the New York Times. I love her style and her trumpet.
*Lady Gaga’s trip to visit the Ali Forney LGBTQ Center. This girl can sing and I love the fact that she actually takes action instead of just talking about it.
*These 29 heartwarming photos of foster kids getting adopted. I cried. I’m also a huge baby. But damn these are special.
*InteriorDefine made to order seating. I don’t know how I had never heard of this company, but I ended up seeing them on The Everygirl and investigated. They have great reviews and the options are amazing. I love this Caitlin sectional below, in sapphire velvet, with brass legs. So good.
*This Too Faced Hangover Spray that is reportedly coming to save you from looking like hell the day after looking fantastic. I’m not hungover much anymore but when I am it sucks and if this had been around during my college days, I would have been all over that.
*Anna Kendrick giving an interview about what books she likes to read and when. I think you can learn so much about a person by what types of books they like and this interview made me like Anna Kendrick even more. And that is saying a lot because Eliza and I already watch Pitch Perfect on the daily.
*Nordstrom Rack has some amazing deals on coats this week. I was helping my mom find one to take to the beach yesterday and I was shocked at all of the cute, designer coats that were 60%-70% off. I resisted purchasing one myself but my mom did get one. Awesome deals.
*Finally being done with purchasing Christmas gifts and watching them all arrive at the house. The UPS man must hate me this week!
*This Christmas checklist that I ran into really cracked me up and stressed me out all at the same time. I am all for organization and planning, in fact that is my “thing,” but this is a little crazy. I mean, the first steps should supposedly happen 3-6 months before Christmas. Never gonna happen.
*All of the snow we have been getting in our area! I don’t remember having this much snow since I was a kid. It is so fun to watch Eliza figure it out and to bundle her up! The picture of Eliza was at the beginning of the snowfall. We now have about 6 inches! We just may make a snowman today. MEB
